looking for ice-climbing partner 22.-25.2.20

Hi,

I will be travelling to Reykjavík for work in February and if I am already there I plan to extend my trip for a couple of days for some ice-climbing. The dates are the weekend 22. and 23.2. and probably also Monday/Tuesday (24./25.2.).

It would be great if someone would be willing to show me around a bit and climb with me. I will be bringing my own gear (maybe except ropes depending on luggage) and climb quite a bit of ice each winter in Switzerland so am very comfortable leading up to WI5- and follow anything. I will have a 4wd rental car.

Due to unpredictable weather and conditions most locals plan their ice climbing few days in advance.

thanks for the reply and the tip with the facebook group.
I agree that planning short notice is better but I just thought I already ask around and then maybe I would get some contact details and can plan me detailed the days before.
