Akureiri will be for an other time. Ihave to work or friday evening late or saturday morning. So, it’s too short to go to Akureiri.

may be I will have to work on saturday. decision thursday.
If we go, we plan to start friday end of theafternoon and sleep on the road to be asap saturday morning. We plan to do a tour not too far of Akureiri.
After, we’ll have the night in guest house Skeid, it in a valley close to Dalvik. We can start directly from there to make a ski tour on Sunday.
Come back to Rvk sunday evening.

Thanks for confirmation.
We have been by Skogar in november. unfortunately an alrm clock break down did avery late departure from Skogar.
It’s very long but beautifull waterfalls and we reach the middle point between the two hutts.I don’t know, may be 2nd part of February or March.It will depend of the forecast weather.
Do you think it’s OK at end of February?Hi, you can also try Club Alpin Français (French Alpine Club) & make cost comparison.
I don’t know if it is possible for non french resident, they have a special high altitude & foreign countries insurance.

For the moment Rvk area is not good. We have to wait stabilisation of wind plates.Warm weather and rain is good for this.
Next week end we plan to go to Akureiri area (forecast weather better than here for the moment).
In two weeks, if weather not too bad, we plan to go to Isalp hutt close to tindfjallajokull. If you are interested, send a message.
